For over 30 years, Sri Lanka was ravaged by civil war. Though the guns fell silent in 2009, the aftermath continues to shape the lives of many—especially in the Northern and Eastern Tamil communities.

Tamil Kodi was born from a desire to bring lasting, meaningful change to these communities—beyond temporary aid. While many attempted to help, much of it never reached those in real need. We are here to change that.

What started as a small effort, funded personally by the founder, has now grown into a vibrant movement—thanks to the collective support of people like you. Today, Tamil Kodi works at the grassroots level, helping rebuild lives with dignity and hope.

• Livelihood support for women who lost their husbands in the war
• Vocational training to become financially independent

• School supplies for underprivileged students

• Skill development for youth in emerging technologies
